How it all began…

For founder Daniel Fairbanks, building is more than a career—it’s in his blood. His family's legacy dates back to 1637, when his ancestors constructed the oldest known timber-frame house in North America, a testament to enduring craftsmanship and resilience. Growing up in the Wood River Valley, Daniel picked up a hammer at age 15 and never put it down, honing his skills and building his reputation from the ground up.

Over the years, Daniel has led the construction of world-class homes, learning the art of balancing precision and vision while staying rooted in his values of integrity, hard work, and humility. Now, with Fairbanks Custom Homes, Daniel is coming full circle—blending his deep heritage with a passion for creating homes that are as authentic and grounded as the people who live in them.

From the first swing of the hammer to the final nail, Fairbanks Custom Homes is dedicated to building more than houses. It’s about crafting spaces where families can thrive, dreams can grow, and communities can flourish—always with an approachable, genuine touch that sets them apart.

Rooted in Heritage. Built with Integrity.
